Continue Reading not showing up

    Hi,

    I’m having an issue with the slideshow on the right-hand side of my homepage. For some reason, I cannot get it to show the Continue reading text.

    Note most of my posts contain excerpt text.

    Please advice?

    Hi there

    I am afraid the read more link only shows up if you use the default excerpts. Since you’re using custom excerpts the read more link gets ignored.

    The theory is that the read more text will only display if the excerpt is cropped, but since it’s showing the entire custom excerpt the read more link is not needed.

    This is part of how WordPress works so there’s not much I can do to change this I’m afraid.
