Content no longer centered

    So I’ve been using the Hermes theme for years, Today I was adding a new post to my website (adamoe.com) and I noticed all the content of all my posts has been .. lets say, “nudged” a little to the left and is no longer centered… certainly not something I woulda done because I wouldn’t know how to do that on a “global” level.. any suggestions??

    Hi Adam,

    I’ve checked your page and it looks like the sidebar is active. This is the reason why the content has moved to the side. You can see the same layout on a demo page (with an active sidebar).

    However, when I inspected HTML markup of the sidebar on your page and I was not able to located any widgets in it.

    So, I am wondering if you have recently added any widgets to the sidebar on your site? If yes, then remove widgets from the sidebar to deactivate it.

    If your sidebar widget area is empty then it might be a glitch in a WordPress.com system. In this case, I would recommend you to contact a WordPress.com core team: https://wordpress.com/help/contact

    They can access the admin area of your website and perform inspection to see what is causing the issue.

    The theme uses a standard WordPress API (recommended by WordPress coding standards) to check if the sidebar is active on the site.
