    Is there a way to make the column widths in posts wider than the default?

    The blog I need help with is

    Theme Author

    Hi there,

    It would be possible to do this but the post page was designed to have three columns. One for the author bio, one for the content and one for the tags and sharing buttons. Depending on how you are using these features, it may look a little tight if you adjust the spacing.

    That being said, you can use the following CSS to adjust the posts content width. You can play around with the numbers. Just make sure the total comes to 100%:

    @media screen and (min-width: 1023px){
        .single .entry-content .entry-author {
            width: 20%;
        .single .entry-content .post-meta.right {
            width: 20%;
        .single .entry-content .post-content {
            width: 60%;

    Hope that helps!

    Perfect. Thank you very much. I don’t think I’ll be using the sidebars at all, but of course I’ll revert to the smaller main column if I do.
