Colour of Footer Menu

    Hi,
    I am trying to change the colour of the footer from the default dark grey. If I select a colour from the colour picker then this just seems to put the colour over the grey to create a darker shade of the new colour. It doesn’t change anything else.

    Also, if I change the colour of the background, can I change the colour of the text “Leave a Reply” as this is dark grey as well.

    Many thanks
    Gail

    The blog I need help with is temptingholidays-blog.com.

    Hi Gail,

    Please use the following CSS Code Snippet to change the background color of footer having widgets.

    /* Footer Widgets Background Color */
    #supplementary {
    	background: #aaa;
    }

    Can I change the colour of the text “Leave a Reply” as this is dark grey as well.

    Please use the following CSS Code Snippet,

    /* Comment Reply Title */
    .comment-reply-title {
    	color: #f59024;
    }

    Thanks

    Hi,
    I have changed the colour of the footer – many thanks, but there is still a grey bar where the WordPress / Axon wording appears – can I change the colour of this as well [apologies I did not realise this was separate area].

    I have tried changing the colour of Leave a Reply, but this does not work – can you advise me if I need to do anything else. I have tried changing to 2 different colours, but it remains dark grey.

    Many thanks
    Gail

    Hi Gail,

    Please try the following CSS Code Snippets,

    For footer info background color:

    /* Footer Info Background Color */
    .site-info {
    	background: #000;
    }

    For Leave a Reply text

    /* Comment Reply Title */
    h3.comment-reply-title {
    	color: #fff;
    }

    Thanks
