Changing post/page color

    Hey all, I need some help. I’ve been wracking my brain all afternoon trying to solve this to no avail. I’ve manage to change the bg color of the homepage, but as you can see ( there’s still this white border around it, as I can’t figure out what div section that is, or how to parse the CSS correctly to change it to match the rest of the site (color #280000).

    For reference, I’m using and the Novara theme.

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi there,

    Are you still using the Novara theme? It appears you either switched themes (you could have customized it so much that I don’t recognize it) or you solved the issue because I don’t see the white border you’re talking about.

    This is probably a quick fix (assuming it hasn’t already been applied) and I’m happy to help, but I would need to see what you’re talking about on your site using Novara.

    Let me know!

    Yeah, apologies for that. I ended up switching last night just as a catch-all solution after discussing it with my wife, and needing it live for a potential product sale. Thank you for the quick response, though!

    No worries. If you ever change your mind and want to switch back to Novara, I’m always happy to help.

    I did end up changing back to the Novara theme. I honestly prefer this layout and utility. If you can help me out on how to get the background including posts to all be #280000 in color, I’d greatly appreciate it!

    Welcome back!

    Can you try this Custom CSS?

    .single .site-main, .site-main,
    .comment .comment-respond {
    	background: #280000 !important;

    That did the trick! Thank you so much!
