Changing font and font colour

  1. Hi

    I'd like to change the font of the whole site to Avenir Next to fit with our organisation's font - is this possible?

    I also want the text in the buttons to be white but not sure how to do this.

    Thanks

    Rachel

    The blog I need help with is coop4colleagues.com.

  2. Hi Rachel,

    Thanks for using Maxwell.

    You can go to Customize > Fonts to change the default fonts. You need a Premium or Business Plan to see these options.

    However, I'm sorry to tell you that you can only choose from the available fonts, but not add custom fonts like Avenir Next.

    The font color of buttons adjust automatically, and is white for very dark background colors and black for lighter backgrounds.

    But you can also change it to white with custom CSS code. You can copy this CSS snippet and insert it on Customize > CSS.

    .infinite-scroll #infinite-handle span:hover,
    .more-link:active,
    .more-link:hover,
    .pagination .current,
    .pagination a,
    .top-navigation-menu ul,
    .widget_wpcom_social_media_icons_widget ul li a:hover,
    button:active,
    button:focus,
    button:hover,
    input[type="button"]:active,
    input[type="button"]:focus,
    input[type="button"]:hover,
    input[type="reset"]:active,
    input[type="reset"]:focus,
    input[type="reset"]:hover,
    input[type="submit"]:active,
    input[type="submit"]:focus,
    input[type="submit"]:hover,
    .infinite-scroll #infinite-handle span,
    .pagination a:active,
    .pagination a:hover,
    .widget_wpcom_social_media_icons_widget ul li a,
    button, input[type="button"],
    input[type="reset"],
    input[type="submit"],
    .more-link:link,
    .more-link:visited {
        color: #fff;
    }

    Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Best,
    Thomas
