Changing Drop-down Menu Width

    Is there a way (using CSS, I assume) to change the width of the menus that are shown when you hover over a top-level menu item. Right now, with the text the size that it is, some items take up two lines in the drop-down menu, and I would prefer them all to be on only one line.

    The blog I need help with is: bluegrassfellows.org

    Hi bluegrassfellows,

    When I view your site, each menu item takes up only one line. Have you resolved this since posting, or are you experiencing the behavior in a specific browser (what browser and OS?)

    Thanks!

    I’ve not resolved it yet, no. I’m looking at it with Chrome v.30.0.1599.101 on Windows 7 Ultimate. Specifically, the one that I’m noticing is a link for a page title “For Prospective Fellows” under the menu labelled “I’m New Here”. When I choose the menu, the label for this menu item takes up two lines.

    Try increasing the width on the following selector:

    .menu ul ul,
    ul.menu ul {
        width: 200px;
    }

    Thanks!

    Is there a way to fix this without purchasing the custom upgrade? I was using the label What We Do (only 11 characters) and it was breaking to a second line.

    Thanks.

    I can pass this along and increasing the width for the theme might be a possibility, otherwise no.

    Thanks!
