Changes to the Coding?

    Hello,

    I was wondering if someone could help me out.

    I noticed lately that there possibly have been subtle changes with the theme’s codes.

    I haven’t been changing the CSS codes so I’m pretty sure it’s not coming from my end. So I thought I’d check in with you guys.

    For example, today, I noticed that on my website (film-review.org) when I hover the mouse on the drop-down menus on the top of the page, the dropdown menu color is now gray-looking instead of the matching blue.

    Another: on the same dropdown menu, the links no longer change color when I place my cursor over them. The link color remains white and just underlined. That’s not how it used to be.
    Could someone please help me out with this or shed light on the issue?

    The blog I need help with is film-review.org.

    Some relevant coding on my CSS page.

    .menu-primary .menu li ul {
    background: #08668b;
    }

    .menu-primary .menu li ul li a:hover {
    text-decoration: none;
    color: #000000;
    }

    .main article.post-archive
    a:hover {
    text-decoration: none;
    color: #000000;
    }

    Also, I did not add the following code but for some reason it’s there:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 782px) {
    .masthead h1.logo {
    font-size: 85%;
    }
    }

    I’m not sure what this one is for.

    Hi there – the theme had a few style changes to fix some bugs and it seems the changes have broken your custom css. Really sorry about that!

    To fix it you should make your styles more specific.

    You will need to change the first 2 bits of css you posted for the following:

    .menu-primary .menu li ul.sub-menu {
    background: #08668b;
    }

    .menu-primary .menu li ul.sub-menu li a:hover {
    text-decoration: none;
    color: #000000;
    }

    And then I think that will make it work again.

    Thanks – Ben

    Thank you, Ben. That seemed to solve the issue.
