change the color of the theme

    Hi There,

    I went through the custom palette you are offering but nothing suits me really as I was looking for something more simple such as a white background and black texts. I made the necessary changes to get the white background and black texts but now we cannot differentiate the post with the background as they are both white.

    This is the reason why, I want to change the color of the post to light grey so we can clearly see the different posts (like a post-it).

    Please let me know if you can help,
    thanks Priscilla

    The blog I need help with is my2017.blog.

    Hi there – I’m afraid there’s no way to change this in the theme settings. However if you have access to custom css then you can change the background colours yourself.

    In the default theme the posts are grouped in 4s and each post has a slightly different shade so that they stand out.

    As an example you could use something like this:

    #main-content article:nth-of-type(4n+1) {
    background-color:#eeeeee;
    }
    #main-content article:nth-of-type(4n+2) {
    background-color:#e8e8e8;
    }
    #main-content article:nth-of-type(4n+3) {
    background-color:#e0e0e0;
    }
    #main-content article:nth-of-type(4n+4) {
    background-color:#d6d6d6;
    }
