Change primary navigation menu colour & page-post header text colour

    Hi,

    I have an issue with the primacy navigation menu.
    I changed the background colour of the menu items, but when I click on a sub-navigation item (named ‘Greetings from the Chair’) which has a parent-navigation item (named ‘About the Society’), the colour of parent-navigation item changes to the default colour for a second (meaning when the link is clicked and active).
    Is there a solution for this issue?

    AND

    Could please give me a css solution to change the header text colour of a page/post with NO featured image? The default colour seems like grey, and I’d like to change it to black without affecting the header text colour of the pages/posts with a featured image (which looks white by default)..

    Please help,
    Cheers

    The blog I need help with is actonsociety.org.

    Hello,

    “Is there a solution for this issue?”
    – Please try this solution:

    #site-navigation ul:not(.sub-menu) > .menu-item-has-children.focus > a {
      background-color: #55707d;
    }

    “Could please give me a css solution to change the header text colour of a page/post with NO featured image? “
    – Sure. Please use this custom CSS to change the color when the featured image is not set:

    .page-header {
      color: #333333;
    }

    Please let me know if you have any additional questions about the primary menu and the page header section.

    Kind regards,
    Taras
