    Instead of having 4 separate columns for footer widgets, I want to be able to have 1 footer widget span across the entire bottom of the page so that I can fit a banner ad at the bottom. How do I do this?

    Also, I’d like to ad a copyright for my website at the bottom of the page in the same area where the wordpress attribution used to be (i have that hidden since i have the business package). Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks in advance!

    The blog I need help with is dottzgaming.com.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for using Dynamic News.

    You can change the width of the footer widgets with a short CSS snippet:

    .footer-widget-column {
        width: 100%;
    }

    Pleasy copy the CSS code and insert it on Customize > CSS.

    The Footer Copyright is a feature of the WordPress.com platform, not the theme. You can learn more about it on https://en.support.wordpress.com/footer-credits/

    As far as I know, you can only select from a bunch of different Footer Copyright notices but not add your own text.

    Best,
    Thomas
