    This custom CSS will do it:

    #banner-text *{
    color: #197f67 !important;
    }

    However, I think you are going to need more contrast between your background image and text. I recommend making your background darker, and using white text. Just a suggestion. :)

    Hi and thank you so much. I’ve tweaked the background image and returned the banner text to white. You were quite right it looks much better this way.
    I have another question – should I open another post?
    I know how to return all the text on the homepage to white. But I would like to keep the text for the featured content in black (no matter what I do with the picture its just not clear enough). Is there some code for this?
    Many thanks again

    in fact, sorry, I like the continuity of using white for all of the text on the homepage. Is there someway to increase the size or boldness of the text in the featured content but keep it white?
    sorry James

    This custom CSS will change the color of the text in the featured content section:

    #featured-pages *{
    color: #000 !important;
    }

    Sorry. I overlooked your last reply. Give this a try:

    #featured-pages *{
    color: #fff !important;
    }

    #featured-pages h3{
    font-size: 3em;
    }

    #featured-pages p{
    font-size: 1.2em;
    font-weight: 800;
    }
    #124062

    perfect, thank you so much
    James
