    Hello!

    I have 2 questions I would be very grateful for help with…

    (1) I would like to customize the text-color of my URL links, however I don’t see this option in the ‘Color & Backgrounds’ options in the Customization menu. Am I able to change the link text color?

    (2) Is it possible to customize the ‘Recent Posts’ widget in the sidebar of my blog posts, so that for each blog it only shows recent posts within that SAME category? ie. where the category slug is – can it be set so that it changes according to the category of that particular blog?

    Thanks!
    Eli

    The blog I need help with is: greenchichi.com

    Hi,

    Sorry to hijack your query, Eli, but I have a similar question to your (1). I’m trying changing the link colours with CSS but it changes the colours of every link, even in the front page! I only want the links within each post to change colour… Any shortcut?

    The blog I need help with is shutterandink.com

    Thanks!
    Marta

    Hi Eli,

    I’m so sorry for my late reply here. Regarding your questions:

    1.) It depends a little bit on which links you want to change exactly. You could also add some custom CSS to change your link color, if you don’t find the option in your custom color settings. e.g.:

    .widget-area p.summary a, .entry-content p a, .entry-content li a, blockquote cite a, .textwidget a, #comments .comment-text a, .authorbox p.author-description a {
    color: blue !important;
    }

    Of course you can also choose a # hex value for your custom color value.

    2.) Unfortunately this is not possible, you can only choose the category slug once and then it will be the same category for all posts/pages.

    Hi Marta,
    you could try the following custom CSS:

    .single-post .entry-content p a {
    color: blue !important;
    }

    Thank you Ellen!
    Strangely, I just checked my webpage and the text has changed – but I didn’t change it. It was FF Market (main text Skolar). I’m a bit concerned that the format can change by itself after all the time I have spent setting it up.. Do you know why it changed?
    Regards,
    An

    Hi An,
    unfortunately I also don’t know, why it changes suddenly. I experienced some issues with custom fonts before, at some times the changes did not get saved immediately, so I had to try later on.
    Please let me know, if you need further help and I try to help you asap!
