Hi. Is there a way to change the front page from a three column layout to a single column layout? I currently use the static front page so I can have a full-width image at the top of the page linking to my latest story, but I would be happy to turn the static page off for this.

The blog I need help with is:

Hi seanmccaughan, thanks for writing and using Christopher.

You can change the layout in the widget panel. Enter in the Customizer area, and select Widgets > Front Page. Inside, add the the widget Recent Post by Category, then you will see a section called Number of colums. I add you a screenshot with all the options of this widget.

    Hope this helps
    Thank you again!

    Hi seanmccaughan,

what a strange issue. We have tried the steps in our demo site and we got a one single column list of posts:

Have you added any extra CSS that can be causing this issue?
Also, after saving changes in Widgets screen on customizer, please, go to you homepage and force refresh your browser:

Let us know if this solve the problem.

I just tested it too and the widget option doesn’t seems to be working, but adding a custom CSS on that site it should work.
