Category as Menu
-
I’ve recently switched to Bridger (very happy with its look).
For some reason, the theme won’t display my categories as menu options. This has never been a problem with other themes I’ve used.
It’s pretty important that I can add catagory options to my menu so I can display groups of stories.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

By default, Bridger will show your pages in the Primary navigation; some themes show categories. You can setup your navigation using WordPress menus in which you can add your Categories to the menu. WordPress menus give you a great amount of control over your navigation items.

Thanks for the response.
I still don’t understand Categories don’t show up on my menu. I’ve added several to the menu structure without any success. Again, this has worked with any other theme I’ve used.
Is there an additional step I need to take for Bridger to display my Catagories as menu tabs?

*I think I’ve figured it out. For some reason my Primary Menu option was unchecked…
I’m not sure why that allows the catagories to show up now as menu options… but I’m not certainly not complaining.

Great, good to hear you have things figured out.
When creating new menus, you’ll need to assign them to a Theme Location. Some themes have multiple menu locations, though Bridger just has the one, the Primary Menu.
