    Hi there,

I’ve just recently started working with WordPress so I’m not very savvy with it. I’m trying to create a portfolio of art, but I’d like the pieces to be under a few different categories and i haven’t had much success in figuring it out.

I’d like there to be a top level portfolio page, then once you go to the page, there are a list of category buttons you can click to see the different pieces of art relating to that category. And so when I add the photos, I can actually put the post under that certain category rather than just tagging it as a certain category… does that make sense? Am I able to do this?

The blog I need help with is

A page automatically displaying all your Portfolio Types (or Categories) is not something built into Perle, unfortunately. You may be able to set this up manually using a page but it won’t be displayed in a full-width layout like the Portfolio page would be. Here is a link to the theme’s default Portfolio showing all your latested Portfolio posts:

What you can do with Perle is set up four Portfolio posts as your Featured Content (section #3) or display your latest three Portfolio post on the front page. You can see that here:

Let me know if that helps!
