Captions for image post format?

  Is there any way to keep a post in “image” format/type, but have a caption on display (could be the title of the post)?

  I love the different post formats and they sold me on this theme, but now that I’m setting up I realize I’d like to at least have some accompanying text with an image without having to publish it as a full post. Is this just not going to work with the theme’s logic?

  Hi John, there should be an option to display a caption – have you assigned a caption to an image in the I age upload options?
