Hi there: I’ve just finished setting up my TheStyle theme page and all has gone smoothly thanks. One feature that i do not like is the over-sensitive dynamic flyaway feature in which posts appear to jump around and swap columns. I dont understand why this has been designed into the theme? Can it be switched off? I have a premium wordpress account in case that is relevant.
cheers, Richard
The blog I need help with is: cinemusefilms.com
Hi.
I’m afraid there is no way to change it, this is something that needs to be modified in the javascript file that can’t be edited on WordPress.com.
You can disable “Scroll Infinitely” feature on “Dashboard / Settings / Reading” page though, that will display “Older posts” button a user should click on to see more posts on a page.
Thanks for your reply; I’ll just have to get used to it.
One more question please: the font on my sidebar widgets is larger than the font in my posts on https://cinemusefilms.com and I cannot find anywhere how to make them the same.
The resulting effect is it looks odd and many lines are unnecessarily doubled. Is there a way to match that font to the post fonts please?
Sure. Please, use the following CSS code:
#sidebar .widget { font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 16.9px; }
Thank you yuriyportnykh. The support here is great.
You’re welcome :)
