    Hi there,

    Thanks again for making such a beautiful theme. I am wondering if it is possible to insert a “featured content block” like there is on the front page on a separate page within my site. I’m thinking of something like a grid page but just with these lovely blocks with the titles over the photos instead of text under them. Is it possible?

    Many thanks!

    The blog I need help with is: partnersinjustice.org

    And if it is possible to do that, is it also possible to do it twice on the same page? In other words, to have two sets of grids with different headers. Thanks!

    (By the way, I am referring to the last content block on the template front page.)

    Hi,

    thank you for using our theme and happy you like it.

    You can use for example column block and inside each column add the cover block. Cover block can have an image as a background and above you can add text, button or anything you want.

    Here you can find more about: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/columns-block/
    https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/cover-block/

    This way you can have it as many times you want and on as many pages you want.

    Hope this helps a bit,
    Ana

    Thank you! This looks great. I’m pretty happy with it, but my columns seem to be assigning different lengths to the photos (they are even but alternating?). I have tried cropping the photos to be the same size, but this does not help. Any suggestions would be most welcome!

    Hi,

    can you please make your website live and point me to the page where you have this, so I can check it and help further?

    Best,

    Hi,

    this is because of the length of the text.

    What you can do is to add fixed size in Custom CSS, it’s not the best way but if you need to go this way here it is:

    .wp-block-cover.has-background-dim.has-custom-content-position.is-position-bottom-center {
        height: 300px;
    }

    All the best,
    Ana

    Thank you. That appeared to work for a second, and then the photos reverted to the original orientation. The different lengths of text don’t seem to correspond to the lengths of photos, though. It seems like there is something either in the theme or otherwise in the guts of the architecture that wants to line them up this way.
