I was using the theme Twenty Thirteen before, and just purchased Designfolio. The form I have at http://www.sweetcrumbsbakery.com/order does not render correctly any more. I’ve tried editing the post – deleting the form and re-adding a new form, but the boxes to the form fields are still missing. You cannot tell it’s a form on the page. How can I fix that?
Appreciate any help you can offer!
The blog I need help with is: sweetcrumbsbakery.com
Can you please tell me how you created the form so I can replicate. Thanks.

I need to look into this further. Would you mind adding me as an admin to your site so I can investigate? Go to users => invite new. My username is dgwyer, please make me an administrator.
Hi David, I just invited you as an admin on my site. Thanks!!
Also, let me know if I should start this as a new topic, but I’m trying to figure out how to get content into the columns and sidebars. I see that when I’m editing a page, it gives me the option to select a ‘Page Display Option,’ and if I choose ‘Two Column Sidebar Right’ for example, this page becomes the left column, but how do I build the sidebar?
Appreciate your help very much! I’m excited to get this theme working.
It looks like the form is functioning correctly but the CSS in Designfolio is being overridden by something. Have you added any custom tools, or features etc. that may be conflicting with the theme CSS?
As for the sidebars, if you go to Appearance > Widgets in your site admin then you can drag widgets (on the left) into widget areas (on the right) to configure your sidebars. Please see here for more details: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/.
I don’t think I’ve added any custom tools or features. I purchased the $30 custom design functionality through WordPress for the previous theme, but I’ve only edited the font. The default background color to Designfolio was a tan color, which I changed to white. I don’t imagine that should affect the form? There’s no CSS, and the only custom coding is the basic HTML on each of my pages, which I barely have any on the order form page.
Is there a way for you to find out what’s overriding the form? Or a workaround to make the form appear correctly?
Yes changing the background color to white caused the issue as the input fields background color is white by default. I just changed the border color via the Customizer CSS so the input fields are visible.
Thank you, David! I appreciate your help very much!
No problem Jen. You’re welcome!
Good luck with the site. :)
