Is there any way to hide a blogroll, instead of deleting the links permanently? I’m using the Linen Theme… thanks!

The blog I need help with is: serenityspell.com

    Hi there!

To clarify, would you like to remove your blog and, instead, set a static Front page? If I’ve misunderstood your question, could you please explain in more detail what you’re trying to do? Thanks :)

    Hi!

No, I don’t want to remove my blog. Within my blog, I have a blogroll of links. I’d like to retain them, but hide them from the front page, for now… Keep them for possible future use, but hide them now.

    Does this help?

    Thanks!

    Hi again!

Sorry, I’m still not sure what ‘blogroll of links’ you’re referring to. Is this a widget in your site’s sidebar? If yes, what title have you given this widget?

    Sorry for the inconvenience :(

    Yes.

It’s not appearing correctly now — there’s something wrong with WP’s formatting, so it will be easy for you to see. Well, it’s going back-and-forth.

They’re titled “Naturalist Sites” and “Writing Blogs.”

Yes, on your Widgets page, be sure to drag-and-drop these Links widgets into the Inactive Widgets area.

    I hope this helps :)

Yes, I know how to move the widgets’ features… But to confirm: All of the links provided in this particular feature — will they be maintained, or not? That’s my question.

    Thanks!

    Hi again :)

Yes, I believe so. The following is how WordPress.com describes the Inactive Widgets area:

Drag widgets here to remove them from the sidebar but keep their settings.

Feel free to manually backup your links (Perhaps in a text document saved to your computer’s desktop) before making any changes.
