I had a previous theme where I posted three blogs, but when I switched to this theme, all of my blogs have disappeared. I think the reason my featured images are not showing on my slide show is because there are technically no posts, even though I can see all of my posts on the admin side and have set the featured images exactly as the instructions say. I want to have a page where a reader can click on the menu at the top and go to my blog, like the theme suggests on the website, but I am not quite understanding how to do that. I am hoping this resolves my issue as to why my slideshow on my homepage is not working. Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
I’m sorry, the site I need help with is actually happilyhumble.com. I am not sure if that makes a difference or not. Thank you!
Have you assigned a page to the Post page under Customize > Static Front Page? This is where your posts should display once the option for this is set.
As for the slideshow, you’ll need to assigned the posts you want to display in the homepage slideshow to a specific category. Then navigate to your WP Admin area, go to Appearance > Theme Options and set this category to the Homepage Slideshow Category. With this set as long as you have a page using the Home Page Template set as your Static Front Page, then your posts should display in the slideshow here.
Let me know if the problems persist with this after doing so.
