How do you place the block writing on the edge of a picture like the advertisement has?

The block of text is added to posts when you are in the listing blog page. Here you are the difference between posts and pages:

https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/Then select a page to display the listing of posts (by default this is the homepage, but it seems that you have changed this). So select “Your latest posts” or set a page for “Posts page”:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/And you will get it. Remember to add a featured image to each post:
