    when I publish a post with a photo, the photo is not displayed, but instead just a black box – any ideas what the problem is?

    Are you adding your photo as the Featured Image? Be sure to give your post a title, too. If you haven’t already, you’ll want to check out the theme documentation for Blocco which may be help answer some questions as well.
