    Hi,

    I’d like to adjust the size of the black box at the top of the site that shows the site name and tagline (for me it is currently just “Paul McCarney”). I’m wondering how I can make that box wider to adjust where the line break is in the site name or tagline.

    Thanks so much,
    Paul

    The blog I need help with is paulmccarneyhunting.com.

    Hello,

    The width of the logo and title block is governed by the width of the column container it resides within. This is done for responsive purposes. As a result, increasing the width gets tricky if you want it to scale for mobile devices.

    If you need more space for the text, my recommendation would be to decrease the font size rather than increasing the width to fit all your text. This can be done by adding the following style:

    #masthead .site-title {
      font-size: 24px;
    }

    You can adjust the size as needed to fit your text. I hope this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Thanks so much for the reply.

    Can you direct me to where I would put that text?

    Thanks again,
    Paul

    Hi Paul, this can be added within the Additional CSS section in the WordPress customizer.
