Background colour on HP for Quote Format posts

  Is there a way that we can change the background colour on the Home Page (not the post itself) for Quote Format posts so that it’s not white, but any other colour? The home page will therefor show Quote Format posts with a background colour, and Standard Format posts will keep the white background.
