Avoid "Team Members" showing up in "Blog"

    Hello!

    First of all, sorry about the EnGlish: I’m from Chile!

    Just wanted to ask you how do I prevent the “Team Members” (which, in my case, are Books) to show up at the beginning of the Blog Page. I followed the steps of the basic tutorial for this Theme but I can’t figure out how you manage to prevent your “Team Members” to appear in your blog as well.

    That’s my main question. I have a secondary one, but I can live with not knowing that one. So, at the end of the “Settup” in the basic configuration of the theme, I’m having the exact problem that’s written in the Troubleshooting part. My “Continue Reading” for the featured home page takes me to the same part. But if I change either the Static font page or the Featured home page as mentioned in the troubleshooting section… Well, everything gets messep up (I tried creating a new “About” page, so the “Continue reading” would take me there… But I just couldn’t. My bad, I’m sorry, I’m still learning). For now I’m fine not having the “Continue reading” option, but I wanted to ask just in case you could solve that mystery for me.

    The theme is really good, by the way!

    Thank you very much! Hope you can help me :)

    The website is “www.leoespinoza.cl”

    Best regards,

    Leo.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello Leo,

    Yes, this is possible. First, you’ll need to apply a unique category (like Featured Articles) to the team posts. Then, you can use CSS to hide them using the category name (CSS can be added into the Additional CSS section of your customizer). Currently, it doesn’t appear that the posts have a unique category.

    For instance, if the “Featured Article” category was applied, you could add this style:

    .blog .category-featured-article {
        display: none;
    }

    Regarding the second question – I may not be understanding the problem. When I view your site and click the Continue Reading button, it does not take me to the homepage – it takes me to the page called https://leoespinoza.cl/leonardo-espinoza-benavides/#more-386…

    Did you already resolve this? If you still need help with this issue, please clarify the issue you’re having, which page do you want the button to link to?

    We are so glad you enjoy the theme, thank you for letting us know! :)

    Let me know if I can assist with anything else.

    Kind Regards,

    Emily
