Hello,
I’ve set up a new blog which will have many authors. When you click on and read one of their articles I would like their avatar, name and profile to appear at the top of the ‘primary sidebar’.
I tried adding the ‘Authors’ widget to the top of the ‘primary sidebar’ but that just lists ALL authors. Is there any way to just show the blog author on blog level pages?
Thanks
Oliver
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
That’s currently not possible on the WordPress.com platform.
So the only way to showcase the author is by name and/or avatar below the title of the article? Are there any other ways?
Are you able to create a header for their author page (i.e. when you click on an active link of their name which in turn lists all their articles)?

Not in this theme on wordpress.com.
Much of what you’re asking would be possible if you were self hosted and were able to edit the template.
