    Hi,

    I am helping a friend to setup her site : https://marinederoyer.com

    She bought the Gallery theme.

    1 – I don’t see on her dashboard a way to hide the “about” author just above the footer of the site.

    2 – She doesn’t want to aloud comments on posts. I did it ok, but it has a mention :

    in french “Les commentaires sont fermés” (comments are closed). How could I get ride of that ?

    3 – I can’t see the themes’s CSS. She has to change her plan ? She has a free play right now.

    Thanks a lot,

    The blog I need help with is marinederoyer.com.

    1. Under a users’s details, if you remove their description (the text about them) it should also remove the “about” section on the site. If that doesn’t accomplish what you want, you can try some custom CSS to specify for the section to be hidden, .author-info { display: none; }

    2. You would need to use custom CSS to hide that text. This is a standard structure of WordPress to show this message.

    3. The service on wordpress.com only allows custom CSS with their premium plan. It’s pretty restrictive with a free plan, and honestly it’s still pretty restrictive even with the premium plan. If you’re looking for easy and reliable, this is what you want. If you want to customize and style your site with greater control, I would recommend switching to a self-hosted version of WordPress. We have plans on our site for the same theme which would allow you full control of the theme, CSS, etc. if that’s what you’re needing. https://upthemes.com/hosting/
