Are there display options for categories?

    I would like to link to a category in my main menu, but I was wondering if the page for that category can be displayed as something other than a blog? Right now it is just a list of posts, one after the other. Can I make it look more like my homepage – with the featured image, title, and short description? Here is what it looks like right now: http://mysteriousheartland.com/category/top-10/

    There’s no option to change the layout on category archives pages, sorry.
