    Hi there,

I’m not sure what you mean by this question. WordPress automatically adds your posts to an archive. Can you clarify what you’re trying to do?

I understand WordPress automatically adds my posts to an archive… But where can visitors find them? They don’t appear visible…
I need visitors to the site to be able to search older posts, this requires archived posts being being displayed by month and title via a button that says “older posts’

Thanks for the reply…Finally figured it out…Boy! that has got to be the most obscure, inconspicuous button in the history of obscure inconspicuous buttons…PLEASE tell me there is a way to change that ‘Older Entries’ button at the bottom right corner of my site, Seriously, no one can see it…Its not just me, I’ve had countless numbers of people contact me saying “where’s the older posts’ SO! my revised question is: How can I change the ‘Older Entries” button to make it more visible?

You could add a link to your older entries in the custom menu at the top. Would that solve your problem?

Thanks. Yes that would work…so how do I add a link to my older entries in the custom menu?

You could make a new page and add the archives shortcode to it — then add that new page to your custom menu (use the tutorial linked above).

    I hope that helps!
