Hello there. This could be a fairly simple fix. Right now, when I click on anything Archive related (any of the topics in my menu, author archives, actual month archives, etc.), the title/header runs into my archived posts. I’d like to move that title up a bit so it’s in the white space, not underneath the first post of that archive, I just cannot find the piece of code that allows me to move it up (Example here: http://themandateblog.wordpress.com/author/mikehallihan). You can see how it bleeds into that first post. I just want to move it above that first thumbnailed pic, into that white space. Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
It looks like you’ve applied a -45px margin to the top of the “.content” element. This is causing the collision. If you remove this, it’ll be fixed!
Thanks. I do see that. Problem is, when I remove that, the featured image on my frontpage slides down as well, leaving a big open gap of white above it. Looks ugly. I would to only move the titles up on the archives and topics pages. Is there a piece of code where I do this, specific to “archives?”
Archives pages have a class on the body element of “archive” (among others), so if you prefix your CSS rule with “.archive”, I think you’ll be able to target just those specific elements.
