Adjust size of post featured image…
-
When adding a featured image to my blog posts, I am unable to make the image scale to fit entirely within the post box (on the landing page). Any suggestions? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Reelio,
When adding your posts, make sure that you have chosen a featured image for the post, that will act as the post’s “cover” which will fill the box on listing pages, and the header on single pages.
See more about setting featured images here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/

Thanks, Marc. I see this as an option. The problem I am having is the images I use are not auto-scaling to fit within the preview boxes on the landing page of the blog. Do I need to scale these manually or is there a way to have it done automatically? Doing it manually seems like it would be an issue when changing devices (responsiveness). If I do have to do it manually, could you let me know the dimensions of the post preview boxes. Thanks again!

Hi Mark,
The home page box dimensions are 620 x 550px.
I’d suggest using a really large image to accommodate the post single pages as well.
It’s important to note that images scale down only and now up, which means we cannot take a small image and stretch it, we can only shrink large images.
Hope that helps, let me know.
