I love the clean look of the social media icons below the footer text, which can be added via the Footer section in the Customizer. However, one of the sites I would like to link to may not be available via the html tags you have suggested on your setup page. The site I would like to link to is Houzz (https://www.houzz.com). Is there a way to add this so it looks seamless with the Facebook icon?

Sorry for the delay. In order to use the houzz icon, we’ll need to update the font-awesome library to the latest version. We’ll be doing this coming week.
