Adding Descriptions to Individual Images in Gallery Post

  Hi,

  I’ve just migrated to the Photography theme. I was wondering if it is possible to add some information/short description to individual photos in a gallery post.

  Hello Satyaki,

  I hope you had a nice weekend! Your site is lovely, thank you for sharing!

  You can add your short description/information to the image itself (under description) and it should show up in a little “i” icon in the upper left hand side.

  Thanks for the quick response. I’m glad you liked the site !
  So, I need to provide the description to an image before I add the image to a gallery post. Is there a way i can add description to an image which is already published as part of a gallery post?

  If you edit the gallery and click on the individual pictures, you should be able to add a description. :) You’ll find more information on editing galleries here:
