Adding a Third Column

    I just downloaded the Solar theme and am trying to add a third column. The instructions say go to appearance, then widgets but I am not given this option. I have to select theme, then widgets. There is one sidebar widget and 3 footer widgets already set up but not a main area widget. And it does not give me an option to add any widgets except for inside the side bar or footer areas.

    Solar theme have only sidebar and 3 footer widget areas. May I know what are you trying to achieve?
