    Hello: my home page features my latest posts, which is perfect for my needs. But I would really love to be able to place a slideshow at the top, before the “book covers” begin. Is this something I can do?

    Hey Alan,

    It’s not something that’s built into the theme, because of the way a WordPress.com theme is built, what you see is what you get, you won’t be able to add a slider with custom code or a plugin.
