    Hello,

    It’s not possible to add a custom button the the menu section. The menu section can be consisted of the menu items only.

    If you want to highlight the current page in the menu, please use this custom CSS:

    .site-header .main-navigation .current_page_item>a,
    .site-header .main-navigation .current-menu-item>a,
    .site-header .main-navigation .current_page_ancestor>a {
        color: green;
    }

    For example, if you visit your Programs page (https://communityhelpersusa.org/programs/), the Programs menu item will have a green color.

    Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thank you,
    Taras

    Thanks. I think I am able to figure this out. Please see the Donate header menu item.

    Oh, I see. You want to change the appearance of the menu item. I’ve thought that you want to add a button element to the menu section. I apologize for the misunderstanding.

    Note, you can also add a custom CSS class to any menu item to change its style. Please see this blog post: https://themesharbor.com/adding-a-custom-class-to-a-wordpress-menu-link/

    Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thank you,
    Taras
