A mission statement at the top

    Hi,

    I'm wondering if I can use the space between our tag line and where our first posts are listed to write our mission statement?

    If so, we would need enough room for the following:
    "Our Mission? To launch a global conversation about the many forms love can take in our everyday lives - at every age."

    Thanks so much for you help!

    The blog I need help with is mostlovingmoments.org.

  2. Hi,

    If you have a Premium account you can insert some text using CSS.

    Something like this would work:

    .site-header:after {
        content: "Our Mission? To launch a global conversation about the many forms love can take in our everyday lives - at every age.";
        margin: auto;
        padding: 0 2em 2em;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks, although I only have the Business Account. Would you suggest any other options? I thought maybe trying a widget...?

    Actually, your CSS code worked beautifully and the Mission Statement looks great. Now my question would be whether it can be center justified?

    Thanks for all your help!

  5. Glad to hear it worked!

    The only way to play with the justification is to adjust the line for padding.

    You can try this instead which will also adjust for mobile sites:

    .site-header:after {
        content: "Launching a global conversation about the many forms love can take in our everyday lives.";
        color: #fff;
        margin: auto;
        padding: 0 2em 2em;
        text-align: center;
     }

    @media screen and (min-width: 1023px) {
        .site-header:after {
            padding: 0 16em 2em;
        }
    }
