Why has the quote post format style changed to italics?

  1. I've just noticed that all of my quote format posts have suddenly become italicised — everything from the body text to the image caption (where used). I had formatted these posts with italics in only one place, the title of the book from which I sourced the quote.

Example of a quote format post where everything is italicised.

I assume the stylesheet has been changed — what justification is there for doing this and applying it retroactively to those who have already purchased the theme?

Additionally, I don't want to pay for a CCS upgrade in order to reformat my posts to the way they were prior to this unannounced change.

I look forward to a full and satisfying answer.

Hi there. I've rolled out a temporary fix for this that seems to do the trick. Can you take a look at your site and let me know if you're all set now? Thanks so much!

  5. Hi Phil. Thank you, the temporary fix has worked and now the quote format posts are looking as they once did. Hugely appreciated! Mufidah
