Menu under header width

  1. Just got the custom design upgrade today and have been playing around with it. I can't seem to figure out how to get the menu under the header to be the same width as my header image (940px?). In other words, I don't want the black bar to extend all the way to the edge of the browser screen, just to the edges of the header image. Is this possible?

    Just add the following CSS to your Custom Design upgrade and you should be good to go!

    .navbar-inner {
        background: transparent;
        -webkit-box-shadow: none;
        -moz-box-shadow: none;
        box-shadow: none;
        filter: none;
    }

    .navbar-inner .container {
        background: #202020;
        -webkit-box-shadow: 0 1px 3px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.25), inset 0 -1px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
        -moz-box-shadow: 0 1px 3px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.25), inset 0 -1px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
        box-shadow: 0 1px 3px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.25), inset 0 -1px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
    }

    @media ( min-width: 767px ) {

        .navbar-inner .container .nav {
            margin-left: 10px;
        }

        #social-networking {
            margin-right: 10px;
        }
    }
  3. Thanks! the under-header-menu looks great!

    Is there any way to get the above-header-menu to still go all the way to the sides?

    Put #menu-under-header in front of all the CSS selectors to limit it to just the menu under the header.
